Step #1- Install Drupal : What is Drupal? (Only read this if you want background behind the program we will be using to build your website)

Drupal is a web application framework with CMS capabilities. This means that it is extremely flexible (due to Drupal's ability to have nearly any program networked with it) and therefore requires extensive setup. Most other "website programs" are strictly content management system.
  
Drupal runs popular sites such as http://www.Whitehouse.gov, http://www.examiner.com , http://www.mtv.co.uk , http://www.fastcompany.com/ , http://appel.nasa.gov/  http://www.popsci.com/ (popular science), http://www.theonion.com/ ,  http://www.greenpeace.com  , http://www.jenniferlopez.com/  and many others.

There are over 10,000 developers for the Drupal system.  New modules and features are created every day.  This means that new features will be able to be quickly added to it in the future. Also your website's security and performance will perpetually improve.

Upon completion of the project, you will easily be able to manage and add content to your website (without help from us).  We will provide video tutorials explaining how to add content (even though it is easy).  Here are a few examples (PROVIDE VIDEO LINKS)  If not you can always call us back OR there are 10,000’s of Drupal web developers (& growing) whom can pick up your project where we left off.

    • Allow users to sign up for accounts on your website ( you may add special questions to verify users before they are given any priveleges)
    • Bulk importing  of people/ users you already know w/ mass notifcations sent out to emails you provide for each (we import with a CSV/ MS Excel document .  If you have any special fields / questions for new users - then we can bulk import those as well / What information is needed?   just put their name, business & emails, ALL other fields, etc in different columns).)

    • Bulk uploading of products will be possible
    • Users will be able to add & manage their own products & only their own products (THERE WILL BE 1 MASTER ACCOUNT THAT CAN MANAGE ALL PRODUCTS OF ASLL USERS)

  • all products will be hidden from the public (since you only want the community being "verified dealers selling to other verified dealers" , right?  ) - THIS CAN ALWAYS BE CHANGED LATER -- ALLOWING THE DEALERS TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC as well as other dealers
  • https certificate is recommended.  This should not be more than $140 a year & may be as low as $25. This way the dealers feel comfotable sharing information on your website.
